Lost In Brooklyn

Yesterday I decided to venture out to Prospect Park and The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. It was an awesome fall day here. The first shot here is actually from just down the block where I'm living now. It's this beautiful abandon building. This picture does not do it justice at all. On my way back I accidentally starting heading east instead of north, so after about 20 minutes of walking and noticing more and more Hadistic Jews, I knew I had taken a wrongo turno somewhere. All I have to say is THANK GOD for GPS! Once I turned that on I realized I had walked about ten blocks east instead of north. So I still had another good 30 minutes back to my hood.
Once back in my hood I stopped by this tequila bar for a beer to soothe my very sore body. Once inside I took a gander at their cocktail list and I couldn't help myself and get the Don Penino. It had Blanco Tequila, cucumber syrup and cilantro..amazing. A lovely end to what I thought was going to be a relaxing Brooklyn walk.
