So, A Few More Shots...

So here are the remaining shots of the waterfront.. Hope you enjoy! Please let me know what you think of the new layout also!

Happy Five Month Anniversary!!

So it's not exactly the five month anniversary of my arrival to New York City, I moved here October 28th, but close enough. Here are some more photo's of my neighborhood in Brooklyn and some down by the waterfront at dusk. I'm so lucky to live where I live. I don't have to deal with the annoyance of too many hipsters or too much scariness of the ghetto. Just a nice balance of both. Mom, if your reading this..I don't live in the ghetto. All in all my neighborhood is pretty quiet. Most noise I hear out my window are the birds chirping and the only thing that has woken me up at 8am is the church below having band practice. Oy Vey.

Xmas In March?

So, here are the photo's from Christmas and kinda the reason for my decline on my post. It comes down to one reason and it's this, I hated the pictures. I went through all of them and I just wasn't satisfied with any of my shots. Which in the end deterred me from shooting a lot after that. I just lost my confidence. I think blogging is hard enough for me so putting up crap pictures for people to judge sends into an anxiety attack. So I'm sucking it up and posting the ones I didn't think were too bad.

We went to Johnna's new place, which is also in Williamsburg and a short walk from me. It ended up being a lot of fun and a day of wine, cheese, and home made pizza! And please don't judge the box o' wine..it was delish!

Turns Out, I'm Not Super Woman...

So I know it's been quite awhile from my last post and I promise my hiatus from my blog is over. I realized how much I need photography not only because I love it, but it keeps me sane in a very insane world and city I live in. For my first full winter in 8 years I think I did pretty good. The East Coast really didn't get the normal winter it usually gets and I'm completely content with that. Now that Spring is here my pessimistic mind is already dreading the humid summer. Getting from A to B here is not as easy as the rest of the country. There's this crazy thing here called walking that takes up A LOT of my time and the thought of doing that in 90' heat and anywhere from 60%-70% humidity makes me yearn for my air conditioning  in my Honda Accord. Ok..less words, more photos.

P.S. Most of the pictures are down on the water front it's about a 15 minute walk from my apartment! And of course I ended the blog with Sir Michael Douglas. I also I have a lot more photo's coming..I hope you enjoy!
