My Very Own Collection Of Villages

New York is the biggest collection of villages in the world. -Alistair Cooke

Since my arrival to New York City I have only lived in Brooklyn. At the same time I have lived in four separate neighborhoods in Brooklyn.... Prospect Heights, Williamsburg, Bushwick, and currently Clinton Hill. Clinton Hill is filled with Brownstones and beautiful old homes and now that the weather is warming up I can venture more into Fort Greene which is just as if not more beautiful of a neighborhood. Here are a few shots from Saturday I got from just a small stroll I took.

The first gentlemen is Paul, who very politely asked to have his photo taken when he saw me walk past him with my camera. The second two, were just as polite and I actually asked them for their photo after their curiosity of me being a photographer. Days like this and meeting people make me appreciate New York City and remind me of why I moved here. This winter made me lose some appreciation for the city and it's amazing how my camera can bring it right back.

These first four are of my bedroom. It is my sanctuary and I love it. Sad to think I have to give it all up in October again.

This is Paul. I Couldn't decide which one I liked best so I did these three.

And of course spring blossoms!

The Arizona Flu

I should be just taking off on a plane back to NYC, but I woke up with the flu this morning. This is absolutely insane that I get sick while on vacation! Here are a few shots from my IPhone that I took at Papago Park and my sister's backyard. I was so out of it packing and getting ready for my flight after closing the bar down Sunday night that I forgot to grab my DSLR so IPhone shots it is!
